How does the appraisal process work? What do I need to know?
The first step of the appraisal process begins with you. When you request a free quote from us, we'll ask you for information regarding the property such as the Parcel ID(s).
After we review the property, we will reach out to you with a quote. We strive to offer competitive pricing while also retaining our industry leading standards of work.
Engagement & Inspection
Once you've agreed upon the appraisal fee quote, we'll send you a letter of engagement that includes the property being appraised, the scope of work, the appraisal fee, and when it is due. After engaged, an inspection of the property will be scheduled. We offer flexible scheduling for inspections for your convenience.
Appraisal Development & Reporting
After the inspection, we'll review all of the information we have. We will conduct an in-depth analysis of the property, research similar properties and their values, and verify our sources. By employing valuation methods most applicable and reliable, we'll reconcile the data to a market based indication of value.
Payment & Receive Your Report
Once the report is complete, we'll contact you with an invoice to complete your payment of the agreed upon fee. After the payment is successful, you'll receive your report electronically, but a paper copy is also an option. We will work with you to discuss any questions or concerns you may have regarding our valuation.
